Employment and labor law is one area of law that undergoes constant change as a result of judicial decisions and new and/or revised statutory law and regulations.
Further there is often significant differences in federal and state statutory law that must be considered when determining the appropriate claims to assert in a civil action in addition to whether to file the civil action in state or federal court.
In my blog I try to share some of the recent and significant developments that affect the practice of employment law in Hawaii.
Interesting events will be posted here.

I'd recommend Roman to anyone looking for legal representation regarding employment law.
Roman is well versed in his area of expertise and I felt confident throughout the entire legal process surrounding my pregnancy discrimination case.
I contacted several lawyers before Roman, none of whom were interested in giving me the time of day to even listen to my story.
Roman was patient, compassionate and listened to what I had to say. And that means a lot to a pregnant, first-time-mother who doesn't know which way to turn after being wrongfully terminated because of the baby growing inside her belly.
His attention to detail is superb, and he truly has his client's best interest in mind. He is very prompt and transparent, keeping me up to date on each step of the process. I never felt like I was left in the dark and I was always able to get a hold of him when needed.
I'm very thankful I found Roman and that he was able to assist me with my legal matter. He is an excellent lawyer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help during a trying time Roman.
